Notes that stay yours.

The ease of quick capture, the depth of nested topics, and a visual map of everything you know — encrypted on your device before it's saved anywhere. No account needed to start.

What you can do

Every feature below works today.

Encrypted on your device

Notes, titles, folders and tags are encrypted in your browser before they're saved anywhere.

Useful for: Private journals, client notes, health records, ideas you don't want on someone else's server.

Works offline

Everything is stored locally first. No connection needed to read or write.

Useful for: Write on a plane or on a bad connection — changes sync when you're back online.

Sync across devices

Optional account sync uploads only encrypted data, with live updates and conflict copies instead of lost edits.

Useful for: Start a thought on your laptop and finish it on your phone.

Unlimited nested folders

Folders inside folders, with drag-and-drop, icons, colors, favorites, pins and tags.

Useful for: Organize deep topics like Science › Marine Biology › Deep Sea Mining without flattening them.

Knowledge Explorer

A zoomable, draggable map of your whole hierarchy. Reparent folders, rename, create, change icons.

Useful for: See how your knowledge connects and restructure it visually in seconds.

Rich editor with autosave

Headings, checklists, tables, links, code, quotes, undo/redo and shortcuts.

Useful for: From quick to-dos to long structured documents — never press save.

Encrypted attachments

Attach files and images to notes; they're encrypted with the same key.

Useful for: Keep receipts, sketches and PDFs right next to the notes about them.

Revision history and trash

Automatic versions you can compare and restore, plus a trash for deleted items.

Useful for: Undo a bad edit from last week or recover a note deleted by accident.

Multiple vaults + push approval

Separate vaults, each with its own passphrase. Optionally require an approval tap on another of your devices to unlock.

Useful for: Keep work and personal apart, and stop anyone who learns a passphrase.

Themes and typography

Light, dark or system; accent colors; several fonts, text sizes, spacing and widths.

Useful for: Make writing comfortable for long sessions on any screen.

Your data stays portable

Markdown folder export/import, encrypted backups, and full account deletion.

Useful for: Leave any time with plain files — no lock-in.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a passphrase

It creates your vault's key on this device. It's never sent anywhere.

  2. 2

    Write

Create folders and notes. Everything is saved and encrypted as you type.

  3. 3

    Sync if you want

Sign in to sync your encrypted vault to other devices. Signing in is optional.

Honest security notes

  • The encryption has not been independently audited, so we don't call it end-to-end encrypted.
  • There is no passphrase recovery. If you forget it, nobody — including us — can open your notes. Keep encrypted backups.
  • The server can see how many records you have, their approximate sizes and when they change — not their contents.
  • Markdown exports are plain, readable files. Store them carefully.
